This roof terrace was so important to the client, as it was the size of the flat interior, so would effectively double the living space, especially in the warmer months.

The design scope and execution were simple. Standard pressure treated pine decking was laid on a supportive framework, with a number of pots and planters added to create a tropical look, with palms and bamboo creating the main focal planting. A corner sofa for relaxing and a new dining table and chairs helped promote the look. Irrigation was installed, as the roof terrace was high level and significantly exposed to the elements, sun and wind.
